Make a difference… pass it on!

By Taylor and Partners Reception

For some time now we’ve been supporting our fellow Oxford Street local businesses and community. Seeing firsthand the day to day goings on of our street we have wanted to work with our local social enterprise – Pass it on Clothing & Co. They have a single and simple aim: putting quality clothes, shoes and accessories directly into the hands of those who need it most – the homeless and disadvantaged, a growing problem along Oxford Street particularly in recent times due to Covid-19.

Pass it on was established in 2016 by Chris Vagg and Olga Puga, who were inspired to find out more about donated clothing after culling their wardrobe for a house move. Unlike many charities whose donated clothes end up as rags or landfill once the ‘good bits’ have been put aside, Chris and Olga recognised the difference that top quality clothing could bring to those in need.

On a regular basis, Pass it on Clothing & Co. sets up wardrobe stations in Sydney, Parramatta, Gosford and Arncliffe where clients can come and pick out what they want or need, free. Who doesn’t feel good about a new pair of shoes or a cosy jumper? Wardrobe days also provide an important opportunity for social connection and affirmation for those living on the fringe.

What’s hiding in your closet?

The work of this brilliant not-for-profit is funded entirely by donors and a Corporate program which we’re proud to be part of. If you’d like to help, why not bring a clothing donation into our Oxford Street office.

Pass it on Clothing & Co.’s philosophy is simple. They treat everyone as family and believe that family always deserve the best.  So no rips, stains or tears, please. And no belts or ties. Just good quality, hardly worn or as new clothing and shoes for adults. Pop in during normal office hours.
